It’s intriguing to witness what a new developer can bring to the classic Book slots, of… mechanic concept. Additionally, it’s not a bad debut by the Microgaming partner.

The theme of ancient Egypt is portrayed in a unique manner in this game, though not entirely revolutionary. One exciting aspect is the Royal League Jackpot Game, offering chances to win prizes that could be as much as 10,000 times your initial stake as you progress through the game. By collecting tokens, you increase your chances of hitting the jackpot and win Super Spins. The Boost Mode, available at a cost of 2 times your regular stake and an RTP of 92.23%, increases the chances of triggering the jackpot game by a factor of 10x.

Book of Raider Slot Features

In game, you can win between 40 to 500 times your stake if you get five of a kind with the premium symbols. The Explorer symbol with a leather hat is the highest paying symbol. The Book symbol serves as both a wild and a scatter symbol, which is common in this type of game. The first slot game of GONG Gaming Technologies with an ancient Egypt theme has been well-executed. Although the theme is common, the visuals have an attractive, shimmering finish. Moreover, the soundtrack is not the usual cliched “mysterious Egypt” tune, but a low-key yet somewhat upbeat one, giving the game a unique feel. Overall, we enjoyed the different flavor of gaming experience this slot game.

Although the Boost Mode feature adds excitement to the base game, it lowers the Return to Player percentage to 92.23%. However, it does increase the potential winnings of the Royal League feature to 10,000 times your initial bet. It is important to note that the bonus round follows the standard format and has an RTP of 95.72%, which is lower compared to other standard slot games.
